Quite a rare entry in the banned list. Island of Death has a mixture of torture, rape, incest, bestiality, murder and sacrifice, which all occur on the Greek island of Mykonos.
A young couple, Christopher and Celia, arrive on Mykonos and appear to be a typical pair of young lovers. We soon get to see how strange they are, as they go into a public phone box and have sex, whilst on the phone to their mother – yes they are actually brother and sister! The next morning, Christopher wants a quick ride, but Celia is too tired, so he goes into the garden, shags a goat and slits its throat. Lovely!
Later, Celia has sex with a local builder in a field, whilst being spied on by Christopher. They pin him down and pour white paint down his throat. A gay pair end up getting killed, as Christopher chases one queer down the street and carves him up with a sword, and the other has his brains blown out by Celia. A ridiculous scene happens shortly afterwards, as an old prostitute tries it on with Christopher, and he pisses on her, before decapitating her with a bulldozer!
As the film draws to a close, the couple run off to the hills, and shack up with a strange yocal, who shags Christopher up the arse before throwing him in a pit of lime. Then the same yocal has lots of sex with the lurrvly Celia as Christopher screams for help whilst burning to death in the lime pit.
Overall, a very strange story with lots of sex, which isn’t a problem, as Celia is a very nice blonde with a very nice set of pods.
