Notorious American splatter-fest, which is one of the bloodiest films I have seen. It’s no wonder why this one was banned when you see how much blood is actually shed! Not one of the rarest flicks, this one was released on the World of Video 2000 label.
The story concerns a mental-patient, whose nightmares are getting a bit out of hand. He wakes up in bed amidst a severed head and a massive puddle of blood. The head then opens its eyes and comes to life. This is the moment when Tatum, our resident nutter for the evening, wakes up from his nightmare.
We are shown his childhood in flashbacks, as he (as a child) watches in disgust as his parents indulge in some kinky sex. Later on, strangely, the nuthouse doctors decide that Tatum is not insane, and let him out. Once free in the real world, Tatum flees the hospital as the doctors realize their mistake and try to track him down.
The remainder of the flick is a mindless gore-fest,
as Tatum heads to his ex-wife (and son’s) house in Florida, leaving
a gruesome trail of corpses in his wake.
