A horrifying tale of the fate of four young campers out for a relaxing weekend in the wilderness. Craig, Peter, Joanie and Ingrid set out on their carefree journey by the light of day, but as the forest becomes denser, darkness closes in around them. They begin to realize that they are lost. Suddenly a form burst from the trees, a machete glints in the light, and Craig drops dead! They flee in panic and spend the whole night trying to flee from the maniac killer.

I love cheeze and this fits the bill. Mindless killing and creative gore. Even the sound track is just as bad and not to mention the dialogue ( ha ha ! ). A total American Drive-in type slasher "Don't Go in the Woods.. Alone" was caught up in the pre-cert cuffufle of 82 and was banned outright in the U.K. I don't think the reason was the gore but the acting alone... LOVE IT !
