This is the blood soaked follow-up to the world famous cult classic "The Evil Dead". It stars all round b-movie actor and general cult hero Bruce Campbell as "Ash" who once again has to fight off the hoards of demonic manifestations in "The Cabin in the Woods". He and his girlfriend Linda play the tape which contains incantations from "The Book of the Dead" and evil supernatural powers are released turning Linda into a Deadite and as more people arrive the film turns more and more into a bloodbath. Once again director Sam Raimi (who also directed the new "Spiderman" movie) makes use of his "Three Stooges" background filling the flick with lots of slapstick humor. One of my favourite parts is when a Deadite gets it`s head squashed in a trap door and it`s eye shoots across the room straight into a girls mouth. GROOVY!!
