Uzumaki means spirals and in this film spirals are everywhere. Wherever you look a spiral isn't`t far away so look deep into the film as they might surprise you.

In the sleepy town of Kurouzucho long time friends Kirie and Shuichi have discovered how deadly spirals can be. A spiral obsessed man commits suicide in a washing machine and his body is discovered contorted into, guess what ?.. Yes that`s it, a spiral. A young student falls to death down a spiral staircase and a woman becomes so afraid of the spirals in her finger tips she cuts them off! One by one the people of the town get so twisted that even reality begins to distort into a horrific vortex.

Bloody excellent movie and unique in everyway.
