A deserted ship rolls into the New York harbor carrying it`s slaughtered crew. The coast guard go to investigate and inside they find the crew and captain dead. Aboard the ship is tonnes of green pods which, when touched, pulsate until they explode! When they explode the pods spray out a poisonous liquid which, when it splatters onto humans, causes their chests to EXPLODE!!!!

Soon everybody is joining in with the chest explosion thing, and a government research team are sent in to investigate. They soon uncover a plot of conspiracy and murder and set out to find who is harvesting these space spores and what could their connection be to a doomed mission to Mars?

 

This is almost a complete rip-off of Alien, which as a film, is shot better but in the other hand not as gory. It stars the infamous Ian McCulloch (Zombie Flesh Eaters and Zombie Holocaust) who plays the role of a scorned astronaut, who was let down by the government and out to seek revenge which, in the grand finale, gets his retribution.

It is still banned in the U. K. but is now available on Uncut and uncensored DVD for the first time in the U.S.A. which you can purchase it through amazon. It is a recommended buy for any serious collector and gets 5 stars at the home of horror.
