Jason Vorhees drowns while on a school outing at Camp Crystal Lake so the camp gets shut down. 20 years later, a group decide to try and re-open the camp and before you know it, the slayings start to happen again. Often imitated but never equaled, "Friday the 13th" has become a famous horror-slasher flick and has acheived cult status world wide. Most of the DVD cuts are the same but aparently the longest cut availabe is from Japan but I haven't found it yet. One of the best.
