A news reader agrees to use herself as bait to catch a violent killer. Unfortunately she ends up getting attacked and is mentally scarred by what she saw which leads her to seek help. she goes to stay at a private therapy clinic named `The Colony`to recover. Here, she doesn't`t get any better and in fact worsens. She begins to hear strange howling noises at night and what follows is a bitch of a werewolf movie. A direct competitor to "An American Werewolf in London", "The Howling" is very atmospheric, full of suspense and the effects are mind-blowing for i's era. A special edition DVD is now available of this cult werewolf movie.
